Sonya Greco is a global award-winning marketing leader with significant experience in Healthcare, Consumer, Healthcare Professional Marketing, and Strategic Alliance Development. She started her marketing career at GSK Consumer Healthcare in 1999 where she was quickly promoted to manage some of the powerhouse and iconic brands such as Tums, Aquafresh, Nicoderm, Nicorette, and many others. Following the development of a Global Consumer and HCP Marketing Strategy with significant in-market results, she was promoted to the Director of Healthcare Professional Marketing, responsible for the entire GSK OTC brands (15 brands across 7 different categories) to Dental and Medical professionals. Being recognized as one of the best global marketers, she also served as a global judge for GSK Consumer Healthcare Marketing Awards where she evaluated global marketing campaigns against best practice standards.

Sonya has received numerous Marketing Excellence Awards from GSK Consumer Healthcare as well as major Medical and Dental Associations such as American Dental Association (ADA) where she was given an honorary seat to serve as the only corporate executive member on one of its councils. Sonya was a driving force behind the turnaround of Sensodyne base brand, global successful launch of Sensodyne Pronamel which became #1 toothpaste in American in just one year, the Rx to OTC switch of alli, the most successful Rx to OTC switch in the history with first-year sales of over $300 million, and the successful acquisition and launch of Biotene, establishing it as the leading dry mouth brand the US in just one year. Following her departures from GSK in 2012, she joined Perrigo, the largest OTC generic supplier in the US where she led the Medical Marketing Center of Excellence and marketed top Retailers’ brands of infant formula and OTC to healthcare professionals significantly contributing to the year on year double digit growth of Perrigo’s Nutritional division. Sonya has a Bachelor’s Degree in Medical Technology from Clarion University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from Duquesne University. She is certified as a Medical Technologist by the American Society of Clinical Pathologists with advanced certification in Clinical Microbiology and Virology. Prior to her marketing career, she worked as a clinical microbiologist at the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center where she was responsible for training Pathology Medical residents in Clinical Microbiology and Virology under the supervision of internationally renowned Microbiologist, Dr. William Pasculle and renowned Forensic Pathologist, Dr. Cyril Wecht.
